Nose bleeds: Tilt head forward, not back

June 25, 2008

If you have a nose bleed people often want to lift their chin up and tild their head back. Don’t. This can cause blood to run into your throat, you could even choke. Tilt your head forward and down instead.

Tv is not an idiot box.

Things you can learn from tv:

1. How to cook

2. How to eat healthy

3. How to fix up your house

4. How to sell your house

5. What myths in this world are true and what are false

6. World history

7. Animal facts

8. How to exercise properly

9. Different cultures and accents

10. Modern hairstyles and clothing in various cultures

11. How to survive if you are lost somewhere remote

12. Craft projects

That is just a few off the top of my head. The question remains. What shows are people watching where you can NOT learn something? There is something to learn in every part of our daily lives.

Magibon.

June 25, 2008

Magibon / Mririan is famous on youtube for posting videos of herself doing nothing. She just stares into the camera with her huge eyes, making faces at us. Sometimes she looks like she is going to burst out laughing, and sometimes she says small words or phrases in japanese.

She starts out saying, “Konnichi wa, Minna San. Magi desu.” Which means, “Hello everybody. It’s Magi” … That’s about it. The end of her vidoes she writes “Arigatou” or “Thank you”

The comments on her vidoes are rather rude. 90% say “Why is she famous?” So basically everybody who hates that she is famous are the ones making her famous, by keeping her videos active.

Japan loves her. The tv show GYAO flew Magi to Japan to appear on TV and in some Magazines. Magi was very happy and did not want to leave Japan. It’s her dream to be there forever. She was very shy and friendly on tv.
